Qeva Elk Velvet Antler Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQ’s)

What Does Qeva stand For?
QEVA – stands for Quality Elk Velvet Antler.

What is Elk Velvet Antler?
Elk velvet antler, often referred to as EVA, means products made from velvet antlers harvested humanely at the time of highest biological activity, which are then frozen, dried and ground into powder. EVA is a renewable product. Male elk grow new antlers each year and many produce EVA for up to 15 years.

What Benefits will Qeva Elk Velvet Antler Provide?
Strong anecdotal evidence from traditional oriental medicine with western scientific research studies in China, Russia, New Zealand and North America over the last century have confirmed that EVA can provide the following benefits:

  • Relief from the pain and swelling associated with arthritis,
  • Increased energy levels and vitality,
  • Improved stamina, muscle strength and endurance,
  • Reduced recovery and healing times,
  • Restore bone mass and support joint function,
  • Stimulation of the immune system,
  • Improved blood circulation and mental alertness.

EVA is a safe, natural remedy without the side effects occasionally caused by some prescription and over-the-counter medications.

What does Elk Velvet Antler contain?
Qeva elk velvet antler is a rich source of up to 40 compounds that work in synergy to provide numerous benefits to users. Key compounds naturally found in EVA include glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, collagen, amino acids, fatty acids, growth factors ( IGF-1, prostaglandins ), and minerals, including calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. Qeva is an all natural supplement for enhancing health, fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

How Does Qeva Compare to Other Products that Contain Glucosamine and/or Chondroitin Sulfate?
Many of the other products on the market that contain glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate are made from animal by-products such as shark cartilage, shellfish and bovine cartilage. Production of these products involves ending the life of these animals. While these products can provide some relief for conditions such as arthritis, there are many added benefits that only Qeva can provide because it contains many other compounds that the single trait products lack. It is the synergy of all of the compounds contained in EVA that makes it such an effective product.

How Does Qeva Compare with prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) pain relievers for joint problems?
NSAIDs (Non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs) are common prescription and OTC pain relievers. They include such products as: acetaminophen, aspirin, naproxen, oxaproxin, nabumetone, diclofenac and ibuprofen. These drugs may produce side effects such as liver damage, kidney damage and bleeding from the intestinal tract. Qeva elk velvet antler does not produce any serious side effects at recommended dosages. In addition, NSAIDs only mask the underlying problems by relieving the symptoms such as pain and do not address the cause of the problem. Research has shown the EVA contains compounds relieve the symptoms of pain and swelling and help repair cartilage damage and function in joints with osteoarthritis.

What is the Recommended Dosage of Qeva Products?
The benefits of Qeva elk velvet antler are dose dependent. The usual dosage ranges from 4 mg. to 10 mg. per pound of body weight.
